Creative Log: Introducing The Tofino Collection

It's been months in the making, but today I'm downright giddy to announce that I'm launching my first travel themed collection of surface pattern designs!

The Tofino Collection

Inspired by the golden light, surf culture, and natural beauty found in the eponymous small town on the western edge of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada - The Tofino Collection consists of designs which began as hand drawn sketches and were digitally built into boldly colored patterns. Details on each pattern as well as suggested fabrics and projects can be found on their individual pages on Spoonflower.

These seven designs (plus two extras in differing color ways) are now available to purchase in my Spoonflower shop for your own creative projects. While I've designed them intentionally for use as fabrics, you can also purchase them as wallpaper or gift wrap. If you do decide one of these designs tickles your fancy enough to place an order, I'll get a small commission on the sale. You can find more details on how it works here

In the coming months you can expect to see some additional creative logs and peeks on Instagram of projects I'll be working on with these designs. In the plans so far are a pillow case with "Of the Land" and yet another Eucalpt tank with "Golden Moss Dots." Oh and the one I'm most excited about? Some swim trunks or yoga shorts with "Dirty Gull"!

Let's Celebrate!

As a little thank you to celebrate both the launch of this project and all the awesome folks who have supported me along my ever winding creative path, I've designed a greeting card which you can print from home! Make sure to print at 100% scale on your home printer on 8 1/2" by 11" paper and you'll get a standard 5" by 7" greeting card after it's trimmed down to size.
