I finally got around to making it and topped it with a simple butter cream frosting made of the following ingredients all whirled together with a hand held electric mixer.
1/2 cup softened butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
The cake was delicious and probably the best gluten free chocolate cake mix I've had so far. It's a bit lighter and less chocolaty than the one made by Pamela's Products and for that reason I like it more. I find that it's taste is closer to an angel food cake then a real rich chocolate cake. So if you ever see the Sun Flour Mills mix on a shelf somewhere, I would highly recommend trying it out! I think we'll be ordering some additional bags!
